I have gotten sick of the yellow and don't want to buy those nice metal caps because I don't like the colors they come in for 60.00 a pop. Anyways, I fell in love with this blue. What you guys think?

i took a cap off an old FC. it's black and it was free. haha.

that blue is a very interesting color...not sure how i feel about it.

 

I dont really think that blue goes with grey. It's a lil to light.

Its different, Im just going to buy an oil cap and paint the rest of them. I think Im going for a black and silver engine bay; clean and simple. Red/ blue/ etc is always seems like a bit much in my opinion.

Nope, I have multiple threads showing my engine bay. Wanted to show him my caps, since he said he didn't like any of the colors the metal ones he saw came in. Just showing some options.

That is exactly what I was going for different. Have never seen this color blue on a car before and I liked it so I am happy. It also looks a tad different in person. It seems a bit lighter in the pictures but it is very similar.. Thanks for the comments

 

I hear ya on the color not being correct....in my engine bay pics, the blue looks different in person too, maybe a little darker

 

One Oil cap I always thought that was interesting and didn't know existed was the HKS Limited Edition Oil Cap...



Which I actually have a couple of these on order for other customers.

Has a nice look and not bad for $40.

Oh and that blue, it is very interesting.....I wonder how it will look with the AEM intake.

 

I figured if it looks like crap when I drop in the AEM i would just buy a greddy strut bar to match it and fork up the few bucks for some caps. Haha so no worries on my part if it all goes to hell.

 

Lol...I would be interested to see that with the GTSPEC bars, I would work out special pricing for you just to do Paint them with that blue!
