oooohhhh, that does look "off". What brand paint did you use?
Just out of curiosity: why didn't you stop after one caliper? Did you not test a small area first?

1 caliper = gay+1
4 calipers = gay + 4
Thanks for the warning...

That car says "I take it in the ***". Well it's an Rx-8, so probably just "I pound others in the ***." But still not good either way. Go dark blue and take off the sticker.

Smooth Criminal
the crazy angle picture technique in the third shot, really doesn't have the same effect when taken in the garage.
I am not to keen on the painted stock calipers, especially when the brake pad itself gets painted. To me, if you have colored calipers, they need to look good, I don't want to draw attention to stock calipers, that are not too pleasing to the eye.

When you consider doing your re-painting of the calipers, you may want to consider Duplicolor's anodized blue (a very close color match to the WB paint). I painted mine in October 2005 and the paint has held up well. Here is a link to my prior post showing the calipers on my white 8.

didnt read all the post, so sorry if I am repeating... l
looks like it is ford blue... does not go well with your winning blue at all! try another accent color,do you have any other colors you are putting into your car. (like my yellow car has accent colors of blue)
also, one small suguestion... or for me its a much bigger sugestion.
please dont paint the brake pads. it really looks cheesy. looks like you pulled the wheel off and started painting. at least take the time to pull the caliper off and paint JUSt the caliper, or even just the caliper and bracket. but leave the pads black.
I personally painted my calipers with VHT yellow (which matches very well), and painted the brackets flat black. it's up to you. just my .02
EDIT:
just saw the pics from the guy above... that looks awsome! I would do that.
