Sorry guys, strakes are awesome:

 

^ having strakes on an awesome car does not make strakes awesome. i'm not as opposed to strakes as some but i think that mercedes would look a lot cleaner without those giant strakes.

 

Some people think strakes make anything look "Chrysler". Well, where Chryslers aren't sold, strakes make anything look like a ******* SLR McLaren.

 

A design element is associated to whatever the individual perceives it to be.

M Series Have Strakes And So Do Astin Martins. There Are Nto But Unless Its The Way We Use Them

 

I was only dissing cars with strakes. Mine DOES NOT.

The original post doesn't really seem to care if people DO like strakes. Simply diss away if you don't like them.

totally agree strakes fail and it wasn't necessary to start a thread. I think we should start a thread "CHROME OR BILLET gas caps FAIL" What do you guys think?
