If I remember correctly the oem ones are also cone type lugs.. But you might want to check.

Thanks!!

And from what I saw shopping, most say that they don't fit stock. Not sure what the stock seats are exactly. Sorry for not being any help lol.

I still have my stock lugs and they look cone to me. I say they are cone because the other closest possibility is ball seat but that's more rounded.

Yea mostly all of the aftermarket lugs are 60 degree conical, so I'm assuming that's what you have?

and the stock lugs I pulled off of mine appear to be very close to, if not the same as the ones I just put on.

But I've looked into it a little bit and can't find anywhere that confirms that the seats on the stock wheels are 60 degrees so I couldn't confirm.

Any suggestions where I can find red (to match velocity red paint) lug nuts (+ lock and everything) to fit the standard R3 19" rims? Good quality nuts too; the older ones I had were painted red and the paint chipped away on the edges when I used a powerhead to take them off. I had the Rays that the OP has but to me (at least the ones I had) were more pink than red.

Or simply use a spray red anodize paint. That's what I did with my RAYS.

What did you use exactly and what was your procedure? The Rays I had were brush painted on, hence why it's chipping off. I was looking at Muteki sr48 lug nuts in red but wonder if these are good/fit the R3 rims.

Well it's kind of hard to afford high end tires when your paying your own way through school. And as for the rusty center caps.... I actually don't have center caps on in the picture. The center caps that came with my rims are ugly so I was getting new ones at the time. This picture is a year old

Brush painted? Mine are direct from Japan, had the slight pinkish finish, so I bought a can of spray red anodize paint. Setup a long piece of wood with nails and sprayed them all with a light coating to give them a real red color.

No. I had other things happening that day. Everyone needs a big hammer and an angle grinder.

Thumbs up on the quality of tools though! Its hard to convince people outside of the auto trade that Snap-On is worth the price. I borderline refuse to use any other name.

I spent 4 years as a mechanic before going back to school. Still have a ton of Snap-On and Cornwell stuff. I need to find a local Snap-On dealer to have some things warrantied.
