OEM CF hood on black 8?

I don't got one...sorry, but I too have thought of doing this. I said (cause I don't like the black hood with red, blue, etc car) I would only get a CF hood if the car was black so I could hide it a bit. Personally, I do not think a black CF hood on a car with color (other than black) looks good at all...but, that's just me.

Please show us...we both would like to see, hopefully it's a close up picture so we can see the difference (well...a picture a bit back too to see if we can notice the diff too)

Well, how much lighter is the CF hood compared to the aluminum one on the 8 from the factory? Is it significant?

no the cf hood would not be much if at all lighter than the stock hood.

So, then it's just a waste of money. It already takes from the looks of the car so if it aint much lighter...15 pounds or more...then it's a waste of money
