OEM CF Hood

Ive seen pictures of a CF (Carbon Fiber) OEM hood for the RX-8s, if someone has one on a velocity red can you please post pictures im debating to order one or not.. thanks! :D

Why would you order one? The weight savings has to be very minimal, or are you just doing it for the look?

i know weight reduction is minimal since its aluminum hood but my friend has a red Del Sol with a CF hood and it looks good just wanting to see if it fits the 8

don't get the cheap ones, thats all I gotta say .... they look like crap after a week in the sun , start getting hazy and crap, get the VIS one, it's only like 100-150 bucks more ...

thats my car on in Doug M's avatar...i let him use any of my pics since i can't seem to figure out how to make on an avatar.

i got mine from the guys up at gemini composites(check the looks and appearance section). Cost me around $700, shipping included from canada. its is a CF with blue kevlar, with custom cut vents. i LOVE my hood!
