LOL this is funny....
Guys it was extrememly close race.
Props to NYSDriftKing for the win. But props to Chrism and his MX5. It's obvious it can hang w/the 8 on the drag strip.
The temps yesterday were brutal. Allot of the cars on the strip were suffering from heat soak. There are many factors to take into consideration...but over all pound for pound the 2 are pretty dam close.
Gotta love some friendly Grudge competition.
BTW I thought Chris had him at first cause his launch was better.
And FYI his girl did say that...cause she didnt want to hear it all the way home - if she was picked up. She thought NYC DriftKing was going to jsut bounce had helost. But the classic moment was when she said watch if he wins Im sure he'll pull the peach moment from F&F and surely he did....CLASSIC and funny as hell that she called it. LOL

That was a very close race and me and my friend debated over who won. Damn I've got to get a helment for the next one! IT was a blast and s**t it was hot! I think everyone would have done better on a cooler day.

i donno... i think you should get your coils checked or something NYC, I was getting HORRID 60 footers (2'7) and still running very low 15s at over 93 everytime my first time at the track. It doesn't seem like your car is running up to par unless you are straight missing shifts or shifting verrrry slow.

Ok i do need to tune my car and get it running better. I was dragin with my boy today he has an 08' rx8. And he pulls a littel on me. And hey draging has never been my strong suit, but after that day i think i caught the bug. I just might go again this weekend.

i saw this from the stands... it was a really close one .... i give chris props ... he did hang .... and nyc u did launch nasty ... nut all in all nice race .... and dont worry NYC .... i still havent had my first drag yet .... maybe if you go this sunday i'll meet up with you and we can do some runs for fun so we can both practice..... oh and chris at least you didnt trade to a SUPER slow *** car.... or a honda ....
