Thanks, Maximus! It's normally shinier than that too This car is an obsession like no other. I'm going to put clear corners in and I might consider some limited debadging, otherwise it's all going on sway bars and bracing mods. I must get around to posting my custom NX-30 installation notes...

Do you use Zaino or something else?

That is pain! Why do people do that?!
Sorry about it but love your car! Did you catch the guy? Otherwise does the insurance cover?
In Oz, we pay excess which is likely to cost as much as fixing it yourself.

Here's my (soon to be) Green at the dealer, after I applied a first coat of Crystal Guard. I can already tell it's shinier

I love it already, even if I only started it twice to move her

The guy responsible is a prisoner on a work gang cleaning up the side of the road. I stopped and informed the super. The town has insurance to cover it. Still, it is a pain in the ***. I will have to use my half day off or take a half day off to get it repaired. If I have to take a half day off that will cost me five times what the window replacement will be. I have to drive about 40 miles to the dealer.
Tertou.... Sweet ride bud.
I checked out the other pictures. Your small children will love it. Mine call it "the race car" They love it when I rev 9000rpm. zoomzoom

I hate to flame somebody, but Shorty, you need to do a few things:
1. Make posts that are readable (i.e. punctuation, etc.)
2. Most of us buy cars not because of some lack of physical attributes, but rather for the pleasure of driving
3. Grow up - we don't care if you're a genius or how old you are as long as you make some constructive commentary to the forum
That's my $.02. Sorry for the flame everyone else.

Nice looking car tertou! It's just like mine so I'd be bound to say that! Three things:
1. Get the fender strakes! They look great on the Nordic Green.
2. What are you planning on towing with that towing bar?
3. Do you have the RB sway bars as well as the springs? How do you like the ride?
Cheers!

Thanks Rex, Green is THE colour !
I will put the strakes (polished), but I'd like to find them at a better price than at the dealer's cause, well, that's just a plus...
The trunk is now definitely too small for carrying garden/masonry garbage. I'll use a small trailer...
The springs are really smooth, and I'll go for the sway bars later, when I've mastered the car in its current state. :p

That's a good idea about the trailer, tertou. I'd hate to put that kind of stuff in the trunk! BTW, I just took my RX-8 on vacation and was surprised how much luggage I was able to squeeze in the trunk - well coming from a Miata gives you that perspective
Yeah, those strakes are kind of pricey, but they make such a difference to the appearance. They seem to be the thing that people notice first. It's odd to have people stating at your front wheel area!
CGRX8 - what are those wheels? They look great! Nice pictures - thanks for posting them.

Other Things...
...here Is Another Idea On How To Mod Your Rx8 Without Spending All That $$$ On The Strakes. I Painted My Engine Covers In About An Hour. Pepboys Carries Spray Touch Up Paint And Has Mazda Colors. They Cost About $3.50 A Can And Takes About 2 Cans To Do. Very Cheap And Very Clean Looking And All You Need Is About $7 And A Little Patience (oh Yeah And Some Masking Tape!) Take A Look

Heh, nice touch, indeed
Though I won't probably do that, because I'm not that much into that mod/appearance thing.
Usually, I prefer adding minor, unnoticeable things that will tend to improve safety/protection first (Yeah, CrystalGuard was for paint protection, not for the shine; that's a bonus ), and then performance.
Otoh, I will definitely go for the strakes cause I like them :D
I'll just take my time, as usual...
