you should be able to still whitebalance when shooting with RAWs...use the "preset" wb setting with a white source (piece of paper that i mentioned previously) under the lighting.

and while it is true that you can adjust the whitebalance with raws (and jpegs, like i attached), it is far more accurate, and less time consuming to set the wb correctly before shooting, and then do small tweaks as needed in post

don't take this as critisism. its not. i really like the photos.

Yeah in this case i set the white balance to AUTO on the d70, knowing I was using RAW i didn't care. Didn't take it as a critisism at all, but I dont think that woudl have helped in this case.
