I will post some wider shots tonight; in the meantime this is how I take care of her...
Wash at least once a week, use two separate sponges one for the upper body and another for the wheels, wheel wells and splash areas. First I spray the rims with Meguiars Hot Rims wheel cleaner and while that is working I mix a bucket of warm water with Meguiars Deep Crystal car wash. Next I wet down the car with the hose and wash off the rims as well; with the car completely washed down I wash her with the sponge by sections always keeping the car completely wet, then I clean the wheels and wheel wells with the other sponge… Using two sponges insures that I never get brake dust on the paint that is stuck on the sponge once it is used to wash the rims. Once the car has been washed down I pull her into the garage and dry her off with The Absorber, it is a very good synthetic chamois that dries very well and leaves nothing behind… She always shines very nicely after this treatment then I Clean the windows with Windex and Armor All tire foam the tires…
This weekend after washing I used Meguiars Quik Clay Detailing System, then washed again (Same process as above…), then Deep Crystal Polish, and finally a coat of Quik Wax…
Now after every other wash I will use a little Quik Detailer and once every 4 months another coat of wax…
That’s it…
