My New Sub and Amp Setup.....
Well I finally finished up my Sub and Amp Setup today. These came out of my wrecked Cougar, I know they are not the best in the world but I am not out to win Db contests, just want a little Thump. They are 2 10" MTX Subs with a 500W Amp.
The Amp is tapped into the back speakers using an Adjustable line out converter to make the power right. The amp has a cover so that I don't scratch the Plexi and so that I can haul small things without worry of breaking it.
There are 2 5" blue neons under the amp setup with some mirrors so that it glows the same color as the car. No its not ricey, its set up very tastefully I think.

Had the car about 3 weeks now, and I finally finished parting out my cougar so I had the extra money and I could not let my subs sit there in the house......

FREE ADVICE!
Looks great. How's the clarity of the music with the big sub-woofer and amp?
I didn't get the Bose system and wouldn't mind a little more power. You've put that wheel well to good use.

Sounds great...granted it would be a little louder had we had room for a bigger box. These speakers hit pretty hard. We dynomatted the trunk to keep it from rattling.
I wanted to preserve space so thats why I made the boxes a little smaller, if you are wanting just a nice hard hitting, probably around 105-110 Db Then this is a very nice setup.

Grimm, I just saved the pictures of your setup and taking it to Cartoyz tomorrow and see how much it will cost to put it in mine. Do you leave your center piece out to get the sound in the cabin? What is the difference in or out? Tracer

I did leave the piece out to allow more sound to get into the cabin, makes a little bit of a difference when it is off, that was one of the reasons I designed this setup I wanted the pass through to remain open.
Thanks for the compliments, Tracer don't pay more than $350 or so.
