with spacers you run the chance of vibration at higher speeds unless you are running hub centric rings.

Needs about an 1 1/2 drop and it should look good,IMO they look great on the red!

they look good. Gonig down to 17s will make the ride a little better. I hope you have stiffer sidewals to makeup for some of the performance though. Also is your 8 a MT? I just want to know if the wheels clear those massive brake rotors of an MT sport.
