New Repaint Transformers RX8
Hey guys, for you Transformer nerds (like myself) you would be happy to hear that there is another repaint/remold of the RX-8. It's going to be SHOCKWAVE and comes in the Mica Blue (the dark blue) with Mazdaspeed body kit.
I personally didn't like the character Shockwave but I'd have to admit that this looks pretty hot!! He's even got the blaster hand
I know that these are prototype pics so he's still got the autobot insignia ... but hey, remember how there were pics of deadend with the autobot insignia and everybody thought he was going to be sunstreaker.
Anyways, enjoy!

Enzolor ... you are right but as I mentioned, this is the prototype that is why the logo is still wrong.
MadRonin, this is still far off from being released ... I think estimates are probably after Grimlock, Windcharger and Ravage being released. My guess is late Jan-Feb but I'm being optimistic. Heck, I haven't seen Meisters or Tracks in my area yet and it was released late Oct/early Nov ... but Canada always gets things a bit after.

how can i get my hands on one?? If you can't wait, get a white one and paint it blue! That's my plan when I find an extra white RX8 (to match my beautiful blue).

Tamas I'm not certain about the prototype ... whether it's plastic or diecast. Mind you that many of the pics of prototypes are from Japan so likely they are diecast. It could be the lighting or the photographer's skill that's a bit lacking causing the pic to look so so.
Also keep in mind that the source of these photos are kept a secret for a reason because the employee or whoever can get in a lot of trouble for prematurely giving out info. (lawsuits and such.
Don't worry guys, I keep up on this stuff so any info I find I'll be sure to pass along!

I just got my white Meister the other day...damn it is cool...now I've got to get this new one too

Rotten42, I go on numerous "hunts" for Meister (the white one) in Calgary and so far it hasn't shown up. Apparently some folks in Lethbridge (of all places) have found one or two but it's still MIA here in Alberta. In Ontario the have just started to report some finds. I'll let you know if I find any in Calgary or if you like I can pick up an extra for you.

I decided to splurge and get the red diecast Tanaka version from Japan. It's twice as much as the plastic RX-8, but they look GORGEOUS! I got mine from www.starworldtoys.com, they had the best price and the most flexible shipping options for us Canucks.
