what is up with everyone and wanting a "clean looking 8" or a "factory looking 8"?!?!
FRIENDS DONT LET FRIENDS DRIVE STOCK!!!!
and if ur car isnt stock under the hood then lets let everyone know that ur modding it by adding to the outside.

You're right... you should add a big Fig Newton sticker across the windshield.

Why? Is thirty old? I was modding cars when you were in diapers. Good looks last a lifetime. If stock looks better, leave it stock. Modding just to mod is dumb. Age has nothing to do with it. I'm not a huge fan of flashy kits but subtle lips and clean lines are the new hotness. A lot of potential but I think you missed the point.

I actually have a simpler idea...

You may want to try putting down ur ebrake and just pushing the car back about 10 feet. I think thats your best way to save this disaster.

ok that was mean, im sorry. i can tell you do really like your 8 so thats good.
i should probably stop posting in this thread now

you know what you are really clever, how you made your reply look like helpful advice only to turn it into a really good joke....wow....i am truly impressed. now if only a really smart guy such as yourself would post pics of your pile then such a guy could talk. i mean not every one can afford to put money into their cars so your....outburst.....is understandable. you know what the best part is???

im 18 years old, in my second semester of my senior year (class of 2007) and my car is fully paid for along with all the mods and last but not least....this is my first car!! isnt that something? and b4 anyone says anything im not a drug dealer, and no my parents didnt buy it for me...not a single cent. think about that next time you send in your car payment....for the next 10 years.

thats the thing stock doesnt look better. make it your own, y have it like everyone else? nothing shows your care about your car more than putting tons of time and money into it. im not modding just to mod either im modding because i want it to look how i want it to look and about a month after i got my 8 (first one in town) three other ppl got one or moved here w/ one. so naturally mine has to be the best as far as looks and performance.

I'd be all for a Wisconsin meet. Check out the MW region board, we should start something in there.

For starters I've started a WI members list

Why start a thread titled, "TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK", if you're gonna whine like a bitch when people don't like it? You don't have to keep telling us you're 18... we can tell.

I doubt it.

An RX8 with stock mazdaspeed parts looks way better than most "modded" cars.

AM I THE ONLY 18 YEAR OLD W/ AN RX8!!

awesome!!!

honestly i think it looks like crap with the stickers and the crooked strakes. also the "mazda" banner looks ridiculous as does the stripe. dont get all indignant when people give their opinions when you ask for them.

Pleasant constructive criticism is something you won't find here or on any forum. Nice, docile comments = boring reading and dead threads.
If you like your car, and it fits in with your local crowd - enjoy. And honestly, thats all you have to say. Look at some of the international forums - different strokes for diff folks.

ARC, before the mods clean the last 1.5pages up, let me give you a little friendly advice. I know you're very proud of your car, and it suites your taste, however that taste happens to be different from the majority of the people on this board. Now when you ask everyone for their honest opinion of your car, thats what we are going to give you...an honest opinion. Some poeple may be a bit harsh about it, but that is more personality than them trying to start something. I guess my point is that if you are asking for opinions, you need to be able to take the criticism that may come with it.

As far as all this argueing, please cut it out. Moos out.

since you asked...

I think it looks terrible. Too much going on, the black stripe has to go and the badges on the trunk are overkill. What's with the stickers on the side? Are you sponsored? You have a K&N sticker there so does that mean you run a K&N oil filter or is the vinyl just for show? Unless someone is giving you free parts or paying to run the stickers its just rice.

disclaimer: the above statements are my opinion, they do not necessarily reflect the opinion of rx8club. I usually never reply to these types of posts unless the OP specifically asks for opinions.

Wow little man, looks like you're tryin' too hard to impress the 16 year old girls. Honestly I would've taken all the money you spent on your car so far and used it to buy a bad *** set of wheels.
The stripe along the car doesn't flow with the lines of the car.
Yeah, you noticed the strakes are crooked.
Mazda logo, too freakin' huge.
Missing' under tray. Big mistake, that could cost you a pretty penny but daddy can pay for that.
System probably more than the car can handle. I used to have a set of 12" Comp VR's and Resolution speaker inside and running 3 Kicker amps on my previous car
Not diggin' the black out badges, lights and did you also black out the power bulge on the hood?
I think if you took your car to L.A with all your stickers, you would most likely get shot at.
Look for DeeDubb's VR for inspiration..

Those strakes cover the all kinds of ridges and angles department very well. The MS kit would be an upgrade. Why cheapen the look of your car with all those stickers? Stop playing Need for Speed Most Wanted, it's affecting your judgement. Sorry kid.
