Canon EOS digital rebel. The lens is also a Canon, 28-105mm USM, and I use UV and polarizing filters on most of them.

 

Very nice. Too bad it's red.:D But it brings out the paint and wax really good. Excellent pics.

I know! when I first read the title I was like Wow A VR-4 with 8 cyclinders. funny how the mind works, but then I saw the car and I was like oohh It is just the color. I seem to think in 8's alot.

I have a question...why is it that most red RX-8s I see in person look nowhere near as good as these pics?

Must be Zaino or some wax that you used, because normally I think the red on the RX-8 looks pretty bad. Too dull of a red.

But on these pics its shiny as hell, and looks the way I always wanted it to look. What's your secret?

If i really have to nit pick, i'd say your exhaust pipes are dirty... hahaha I agree with Jerky 8 that it's a great looking red.

 

I really wish I had a good answer...the fact of the matter is that the car is almost 2 years old, almost never garaged, was waxed one time but over a year ago so that probably has little effect at this point...all I do is wash it regularly as any well-behaved 8 owner ought to do. It could just be a product of the camera, lighting, filters...I have pictures of my car that I took with older digital cameras and they don't really compare to these - they would probably be closer to what you're used to seeing.
