They use a plastic dye. They have to sand the pieces down and apply a primer, than dye and seal it. I havent taken it back as i was away, but before i do im looking for a new set of visors / dome lights and the map lights.

Yes the car has already been fully scotch guarded. the 2 front seats are totally covered for regular driving, the rear seats i usually just cover em with garbage bags, but not to much as nothing goes back there.

 

Nice! Really a "winter" color scheme but very striking. So they are covers over the original seats, not the seats themselves modified? Do they stay in place well? I've been thinking of getting a splash of red in my Yellow GT (yeah, too common, but rare with a Yellow). I was even thinking of buying some red seats on ebay and swapping them out, or hunting for a salvage red with red/black and seeing if the owner was willing to swap for a fee.

How hard is it to do the door inserts? Did they replace the existing ones or cover those?

 

I took the OEM seat covers and had them re-upholstered with the suede. So these are not like aftermarket generic covers, they look and feel like OEM, which is what i wanted.

The doors they pulled off the old fabric and re-upholstered them as well.

 

kris, this is the stuff of my dreams man. i didn't know alcantara could be done commercially.

i'm really looking forward to see how your suede center console turns out. i'm also hoping to see someone suede up their dash like the one on the f430 scuderia.

 

nice interior.. i would fear white plush upholstery. Im doing similar with blue on black.
