New owner here! :)
Yup. From the moment I first saw the concept I knew I wanted one. 5 years later I have it. I joined this place in 2001 even. Now I'm actually an owner.
Pics have been downsized for easy downloading, I'll have higher quality ones later on.
Specs:
2005 Mazda RX-8
14,000 Miles
Winning Blue
Black Leather
6 speed
Doors
CD Player
Sunroof
Power everything
Darin Pemberton
Heated seats
Xenon headlights and foglights
6-disc in-dash cd changer...allegedly
18in. wheels
Circle design on cd player, it's neat.
Anyway, here is what it looks like.

I love this car.

Yea I threw in "doors" as an option to see if anyone actually reads that stuff. :
As for the 4 buttons, I just have the dimmer switch and DSC switch.
Thanks guys!
Darin, I actually made one of those the other day.
Tomorrow I'm taking it to Mazda to have it checked out. It has a intermiddent rough idle and power loss after having been driven a while. So I'll make use of the factory warranty.

Hi goat... glad to see another proboner over here
Although I don't have the Probe GT anymore, I have fond memories. It was a great car. But the 8 is much nicer

Bingo - it's more 'mature' - of course a better performer to boot! (Unless you believe 'that board's Kills forum'...

Darin, I drove my Probe GT today and quickly realized how dated it is. The RX-8 has a much better driving position as well. I got back in the 8 and loved it.
Even though my Probe has a strong motor, there is no way it would beat the RX-8 in a straight line and on a curvey road it wouldn't even be close.
I also put in a full tank of 94 after depleating the 87 "free full tank" from the dealer and it idles smoother, the cup holders don't get hot and the power doesn't go away like it did. Man, this car HATES 87.
I will say that if I drive it hard I can smell the cats. Not sure if that is normal on these cars or not.

My car's heated-cup holder works in full effect.

I don't recall smelling the cats - but there are "people" on here who'd probably "run your vin" and find out if the car has ever been flooded - if it HAS, you may need a new cat. My car's power and economy SKYROCKETED with a cat-replacement...(long story..).

Welp, I just ordered the RP supercat, REVi air duct and a K&N filter.
I'm sure someone will say I should have bought the REVi intake as well, but I was not to keen on dropping $300 for it, so the airduct mated to the stock box with a K&N will work for me right now.
