Nope, just having withdrawls.

I can't wait to see it with the rest of the kit. You definitely have one of my favorite 8s.

Your 8 is looking great. Nice mods, and vanity plates no less! :D

After seeing yours, I think I'm in love with the MS wing all over again.

i was never that big of a fan of the MS wing but it just goes with the rest of the kit so well! whoever put that wing on did a damn good job...especially when it didn't fit right to start off with!

bet that person had fun drilling holes into your car!!!:D

I usually don't like chrome rims, but those look pretty nice! Does the Mazdaspeed wing need a different set of holes from the stock spoiler?

Thanks for the compliments!!

We had to drill entire knew holes for this one, the stock holes were about 1/2" too far to the back edge of the trunk and then had to make them slightly bigger to ensure it lined up right. No biggie though b/c the spoiler covers them up.

question though... do you suffer from parkinsons? Try to hold the camera still, it hurt my eyes to look at some of your shots :D

:p Lol, I know sorry about that. I'm pretty small so I have to hold my arms up to aim down to not get a glare from the sun. Kinda an awkward position and hard to be still.

Dazy,

That MS wing looks AWESOME on your car!

Truthfully, the entire thing looks HOT!

I must agree with the masses on this one...gotta go with the Red Calipers! You should put some of Polak's RX-8 decals on them. That would add a nice little touch.

Never thought that the strakes were a UK only thing... There is however a kinda caution on them, the guys from the UK RX8 forum n some guys i know with RX8s with them on complained that the aluminium strakes corroded whenever there was too much salt or grit on the road. Basically during winter. But since you're in sunny TX, don't think it matters much. Just make sure u wash them down with fresh water if you decide to drive somewhere snowy and the roads have been gritted/salted.

Blindingly chromed rims :D Serious bling factor, nice And those greddy pipes fill out the exhaust space beautifully.

The strakes aren't just a UK thing but the beauty of them is that they are NOT aluminum.
The strakes in question are being made by a guy out in UK who is making them out of stainless steel, unlike the pieces of crap that Mazda first manufactured.

Thanks for the compliments Jedi!

I bought the stainless steel strakes from Howard b/c I needed something to help out with the blingy chrome... kinda spread it out a little? And I had heard about the corrosion factor and although I shouldn't have a problem where I live, I didn't want to have the problem if I traveled or moved later on. As it turned out, Howards were cheaper than Mazda anyway!

I like the bling factor a lot. The Velocity Red gets plenty of attention on it's own and I thought that gun metal took away and alloy didn't add, so I figure I'd go chrome. How can you miss chrome? :D :p
