Hello all, I am a new member to rx8club and a first time 8 owner and rotary owner. Just thought I would pop in and introduce my self and show ya'll some pictures of my new car

Awesome interior!! I dig that black and red combo.


It is actually quite rare. Initially I thought it was the same interior color of the 40th AE, but as I kept looking at the pictures I realized they are different. The color on this one is a little more more "red", while the 40th AE is more like burnt orange.Also, the 40th AE has black leather on the back and lower parts/sides of the seats.

So I wonder, is this a Grand Touring? It must be. I doubt a Series 2 Sport would come with leather interior.

I guess many RX-8s came from factory with special options that were not necessarily officially advertised as options for others.

 

It looks like a GT without NAV.

Thank you all! I am in love with this car!! It is a 09 GT without nav. The color combo is what drew me to the car. The black mica is amazing. I didnt know much about rotarys at the time but I have done quite a bit of research lately and I am hooked!

actually were currently trying to get one together right now, you can check the regional section in Gulf rx8club. The thread title should be "official houston meet planning" or something like that.

 

Sweet I will keep an eye out for when one gets organized. I work offshore so I am only home every other month but I will most definitely be there if I am home.

lol definitely in the plans. My last car was slammed so I am going to roll with a little comfort for a while. But I did order vis carbon fiber front lip today. When I get home from my next hitch at work she will be in the body shop getting the badges blacked out and the wheels painted body color. I also have a plan for the tail lights but I will leave that one a surprise pictures to come soon!
