Just got my front bumper back from the body shop and installed. I'll be installing my fog lights soon. Questions/comments always welcome and appreciated.

Anyways, enjoy.

Thanks

~Chad

Not all Mazda dealerships can order these bumpers. They have to be "Mazdaspeed Dealers". You can order from anyone you want, but I would strongly recommend buying it from someone in your area so you can personally pick the bumper up instead of having it shipped. They don't come painted anymore either, just primered. Let me know if you're going to purchase one and I'll pm you the paint codes you need.

I want! Do you know if they'd have any in Canada? I tried calling my dealership, but they didn't really have an answer... Paint code for 2007 phantom blue?

They should. You just need to call around to find a Mazdaspeed dealer. 32C is the paint code for Phantom Blue.

No they aren't discontinued. The fog light brackets are discontinued. The only thing that has changed with the front bumper is that they don't come pre-painted any longer, they only come primered. The side skirts, however, do come pre-painted.

Looks great, but since that's the case, how are you gonna go about installing the fogs?

I bought a used pair from Dondo on the forums. And I enjoy taking the bumper off and putting it back on anyway.

EDIT: And hey sorry, thanks for saying it looks great

I got the front and sides. I'm not too fond of the rear, especially with a stock exhaust. I'm wanting to go with a quad tip exhaust system in the future anyway, and it wouldn't fit with the Mazdaspeed rear.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.

Oh and by the way, I installed it myself. I didn't have a shop do it. Don't know if it matters to anyone else but I take pride in doing things myself.

The last time I checked, which was a couple months ago, they were still producing these bumpers. But things change fast, so I could be wrong.

I have the front and sides; I don't like the rear.

Well, my front came from Japan and was stocked along with many more (I assume) to a mazdaspeed dealers warehouse somewhere in the eastern US. Although this may be true, some dealers still may have some in stock. Thanks for the info though.

Thank you very much. And I know, I hardly see any white rx8's around my area. Someone drives one down the street from my house, but they don't know anything about the car I believe.
