Hay all!

Been Lurking around here for the last few weeks, I just bought a 05 Gray RX8 with
no mods, collecting her on sat!! I'm from Dublin, Ireland so I'm not too sure if
there are any other Irish ppl here but hay its all good !! Thanks for all the info
you guys have put up here it has been really helpful with choosing the car!!

Yeah its a little lip spoiler, the car is bog standard and its broken in already it has 25k
on it already so I can let her rip straight away!!
Prob gonna keep her standard for a while before I can afford to add anything!! Don't
care though just can't wait to get my hands on her

Does the handbrake lever get in the way of shifting at all? I've never driven a RHD car let alone tried to shift one...lol

 

I've seen those pictures before...years ago...anyone else recognize them?

 

hohoho..... right driverside car...

i remember i yelled at my car when I tried to use hi-beam to a jerk driver right in front of me, then my window washer came right out on my window shield...(opposite sides)

pretty much im getting used to with US cars now though haha

 

Now why for a right hand drive car would they leave the e-brake on the right side. That would get anoying quick. Congrats on the purchase. Enjoy the addiction.

 

Have to say I had no problems or even noticed it when I was test driving RX8's! It
feels very comfortable and not at all weird!!

As for the pics they are the ones from the dealers website, they could have been
used before as it is a second hand car!! I'll post some pics when I pick it up.

Can't wait! just have to get through tomorrow and then its fun time!! Plus my wife
is heading over to you guys in America to work for 2 weeks so it just me and the RX8.
Some good quality time together LOL

 

Just curious. Are the gears changed due to it being rhd, meaning is reverse still down and right and is 1st still up and left?
