New to the forums here
I have been a member of the mazdas247 forums for 2 years, moved over to here
nicer people, and more knowledgable.
ive had my 8 for about 3 months now
it has a 3/4 inch wheel spacers in back, k/n typhoon, headers, midpipe, exhaust, nology wires, underdrive pullies, and a volo soft flash from the guy who had the car before, i thought it was bunk, I put it back on though cuz my buttcellerator guage said it works....ill dyno it in the spring to see if its really good though.

welcome to the forums....apparently you got the attention of the leghumping horn dogs.....not gonna lie i looked at the pb account myself....appreciate you posting a link rather than the pics......by the way it looks like the hood is veilside and kit is extreme dimensions MS replica kit

It is the M1 front bumper, the hole shoots right into nothing since i have not taken the intake sock thing off yet,
dont know what to do with the vaccume line there :| the bumper fits great, and at 140mph there is no deflection
in it, or according to my buddy next to me it was not shaking like the factory one does. it is flexible but only on the
very bottom and corners, other than that when you knock on it it sounds like metal.
Appreciate the insight guys on the mesh, the bumper came with it in there and i left it thinking its ok, but I go by
majority on certain cosmetic things, so alas, tomorrow I am painting it Black.
and the veilside hood is no longer on the car, i have it in the garage now, I heard here in VA they get sick nasty
with the salt(yes i know i got kansas tags, i just switched them over to va the other day) and its for sale if anyone
wants it, NOT carbon fiber, but it is painted SSilver with gunmetal insert.
and as for the volo chip, its weird, my butt and right lead weight is telling me it works, the OBD scanner says its
working........but general "ANTI-RICER" logic is telling me chips are crap.......chirps going into 3rd gear and i beat a
06/07 nismo z the other day on a roll......and last time i checked im not supposed to do that.

they say up to 25HP but i think its more around ten, but that helps some with the rest of the junk on the car......
man i need to dyno this thing bad.....
and its getting bottle fed tomorrow :D 65 shot going on, the last 7 cars i have had had nitrous so im not new to it,
just sucks having throttle by wire.......oh well fast and furious style ghey button on the wheel.....or i might just rewire
the cancel button on the cruise control....that i never use....

Whenever the next dyno day is Im going to check to see if it works. Im going to run the car with it, take it off and reset ecu and then run again. the wiring diagram is correct in where they go into the ECU.....so im thinking it works under the same theory as the cobbsport...just not as good. the thing I dont like though is my buddy behind me said that I get a flame in the exhaust after I get on the gas which leads me to believe its dumping fuel.

im thinking it loads up on the bottom end below 4500rpm then leans out sharply, cuz its like a little kick once i get there, mild but noticable, then when i let off the gas I get back fire near 7 to 8k. another rx8 owner driving it would have to tell me if thats normal.
This is all off the bottle as well, Im not going to spray til I get an EGT and UEGO installed
