I'm new here. I have a friend with an RX-8 and I have to say I love how the car drives. It might not be able to hang w/ me in the twisties, but the way the torque keeps steadily building in the 8 is awesome. Similar to the VTEC feel of the S2000 but much smoother.

Wish my car came with all those horses.

I briefly thought about gettin an MR2, but then I found out they are not made for people over 6 feet tall

I had an mr2 spyder (wrecked it) , and I'm 6'5" people said I looked like a spider getting out of the thing.

 

Watch out for this guy MR2 Spyder. He keeps getting kicked out of the MR2 forums for causing trouble.

Okay, it's not. But they suck over there. They ban you for the simplest things. My next car might be an S2000, an Evo, or maybe an RX-8, so I figured I join your board.

 

Go for the 8 or the S2k...I'd say the 8 simply for the practicality of having back seats. Convertibles are nice though, especially if you live in a nice climate.

well u might be waitin a while for the next Evo.. unles u get an (ab)Used evo.

Mitsu is not doing so well. A lot of the local dealers are closings here in NY my account was sold over to 2 different dealers!!!!

As Oldsmobile i see the end of the Mitsu in the near future.

Both the S2000 and Rx-8 are great cars.. i say i like teh 8 better because i have one.. if i had to choose again id pick the 8 because of the price probably.
