Much better, you will get there.

superhypered 03-06-2011 09:26 PM

wait do you have any plans for the rims? like have you thought of what you wanted to do?

phrenetiK 03-06-2011 09:32 PM

promise the car will look normal after you switch wheels. good progress :)

jasonrxeight 03-06-2011 10:06 PM

now finish up the front bumper and the wheels.

lateralus 03-06-2011 10:18 PM

Very nice!

Like Jason said, now get rid of that black part at the top of the front bumper (with the hole in it) and get on some different wheels... Then it'll be lookin damn good :smoker:

EClark13 03-06-2011 10:50 PM

Plans for the bumper, planning on getting a new bumper with a body kit, not sure which one yet, and for rims, go OEM Black until i can afford these, probably go with 18/19x8.5 +40. with a blue time attack pin

superhypered 03-06-2011 10:52 PM

hmm. those are pretty nice. although I'll always stick with my OEM chromes ;)

monchie 03-06-2011 11:04 PM

EClark13 - your car will be normal again as soon as you follow what other people say what to change on it... don't change the color though.

superhypered 03-06-2011 11:17 PM

^ +1

EClark13 03-06-2011 11:32 PM

Thanks, I really enjoy people thoughts and ideas on this site, I dont wanna seem like a pushover, but most people's suggestions are very helpful and make it look a lot nicer. Can I please just tell everyone not to EVER two-stage epoxy a gay emblem to the side of your car... its very hard to remove... took me 3 hrs of wasting time before i finally got 95% of the epoxy off.

canaryrx8 03-06-2011 11:46 PM

actually those wheels aren't nearly as bad as some of the other ones I've seen, if the car was dropped a bit you might even pull it off with those. I think the thing that bothers me the most on your car is front bumper and door lines. I've noticed in some of your pics that you have some eyesore gaps around your headlights and the front part of your doors, whoever did that to your bumper must have completely ruined it putting it back on the car, or it's an aftermarket stock bumper or something. The interior might have been ok if they did it right, but in looking at your pics I can see where the material is pulling up or not properly stretched, a couple of tweaks on the quality of the mods done and your ride wouldn't be half as bad as people make it out to be, it is your ride after all, have fun with it, do whatever you want too it, other people aren't paying for your mods/parts so if they don't like it who cares.

superhypered 03-06-2011 11:52 PM

yeah, the rims really arent that bad.. its just sometimes, doing everything is too much. for example, a stupid white 350z with every mod from autozone on it. horrible. btw

dont do this, if this helps. i hope

monchie 03-07-2011 12:07 AM

superhypered 03-07-2011 12:10 AM

monchie 03-07-2011 12:14 AM

You know what...it's always In-n-Out for the Vegas 8's. We could encourage them to change it sometimes to Sonic, we'll see about that.

Yah... i totally agree about the gaps. Unfortunately, the gaps are caused by the welded on vertical door kits. The passenger side is not nearly as bad as the driver side. I am looking into ways to fix that (without going back to stock hinges). Ill probably have to find a way myself, since everyone and their mothers on this forum hate vertical doors. The gap around the lights hopefully can be fixed with a new bumper, The current bumper, i think, is stock with the stupid black part with the hole fashioned into it, it wasnt done very well. As for the interior, I am planning on trying to do some work to it to pull it tighter and make it look better (especially on the doors) but surprisingly it looks quite nice on the driver and passenger sides (i think). And about the wheels, they are too big for the car, they rub plasic on turns and are very close to the wheel well, so any drop would probably cause some significant problems. Are there some mods you can do to move the plastic in the wheel wells to create more space for tires? Thanks for the post!!

EClark13 03-07-2011 12:16 AM

mmm... in-and-out, 4x4 please

superhypered 03-07-2011 12:19 AM

EClark13 - You don't really have to listen to those people. If you don't want to change anything right now because of financial reasons, then don't. Some of them are just encouraging you to change it because it looks "Ricer" to them and they don't like those. It's really up to you to decide, it's your car, your money, and your lifestyle.

EClark13 03-07-2011 12:45 AM

I definately want black wheels, i agree with the people that say the chrome looks tacky, that why i got rid of most of it. I just need a pair of transit rims while i try and sell the ones i have now. i know that these are just suggestions
