Hey guys, just got this car. Its an 04 with an 07 rebuilt engine. DS-02 Dropstar rims with black blades. K&N Cold Air Intake, Greddy strut bar, expeed exhaust, Louis Vuitton accented interior, CF hood, and of course... Lambo Doors (welded) (... go ahead and rip on the doors, everyone does, but i enjoy them) Let me know what you guys think

Interesting... the DUB sticker on the back is a nice touch but you're missing the 20" Chrome stickers on the windows.

Well... It could have been nice but the wheels, doors, emblems, paint job, and interior kinda ruined it.

Out of curiousty why is there "louis vaton" interior but it has seat covers? Just something to think about.

I gotta give the dude props for doing the MS wing and the Evo r lip wing. I wanted to be the first to have that look but good job for that combination !! :)

I appreciate the criticism, i can handle it, im not much for arguing with people but i do appreciate the feedback, Always looking to improve. (even though according to some i might be too far to even recover) but the seat covers are because its winter and I dont want to damage any of the interior, just trying to keep it in better condition. And about the DUB emblem, I didnt put it there, and I might eventually remove it, I would rather have NO emblems on the car. Thanks again guys

For me, I'm not feeling the heavy wheels on a sports car, or the emblems. The hood need to be black and have the mesh vents painted black as well. The LV interior is well..... I would have to see it up close. The black part on the bumper looks amateur, have the hood and that resprayed and it will work better.

Yeah, i agree with the hood, its like, formed into the fender. there is some serious chips and some cracks in the bumper so i was thinking of purchasing a new fender/body kit. Do you have any suggestions?

I hated the fact that it was auto... but i really like the rest of it. And i posted some interior pics at the top. Thanks again for the criticism, but some suggestions along with the "i hope this was free" comments would be helpful for me!! :p

well, if i were you, i'd try everything to revert it back to stock first and start there.

If I had that car... I would start by removing the DUB badges and putting new wheels on it. That would go a pretty long way

Thanks!! do you know of any easy way to remove those damn emblems? i would also like to get rid of the RX 7 emblem on the back. I dont wanna chip any of the paint off, or if i do, if i could get a good way to repair it i would do it asap. And what kinds of rims/wheels would you suggest?

Try heating them up with a hair dryer or heat gun. Usually they're help on by an adhesive.

i literally just got the car. that intake costs about 300 dollars is full carbon fiber and as for the painted wheels, well personally id rather have them then fucking 20"s of eye sore and retarded ricer doors from 2fast2furious. I can state my opinion and personally I feel if you don't agree with what I said you are someone with literally the worst taste in cars I have ever seen and should have your keys and license turned in

I am not a fan of any of it.. but simply changing the wheels would really go a long way.
And about the doors.. they can be on the car sure.. but don't flip em up!

No, Im suggesting getting a new bumper without a DIY looking hole in the front bumper. Google "Racing Beat Intake"

For the DUB badges, just hit them with some heat to loosen up the adhesive (like Ross Dawg said, a hair dryer or heat gun should do the trick), then get them off with some dental floss. The 7 badge will be pretty much the same thing, but the badge that comes on the car where that one is has two studs that go into the trunk lid. I'm not sure if the 7 badge has studs (I highly doubt it), but regardless there are going to be 2 holes there where the old badge stuck in. You could try to find a replacement of the stock one to put there. Plenty of people debadge the back though, and either just dont worry too much about the holes or fill them in... But anyway, just a heads up that there will be 2 holes there when the 7 badge comes off...

As for what wheels to replace those with, it is really just preference. Not big and chrome though haha... Just look through some of the pics of peoples cars on here and see which ones you think look the best. Then either look into getting some of them or some like them...

He isn't talking about getting rid of the actual cold air intake itself, just the hole in front bumper... Getting rid of it wouldn't hurt anything. The cold air intake would still get plenty of air flow and work perfectly fine without that hole being there.

return to stock is the best.

-Lose the ricer chrome rims
-get rid of the the K&N,intake. not a cold air intake.
-expeed exhaust? never heard of it.
-LV interior looks terrible. it doesnt look too unsightly but, who ever put it on did a half ass job, looks all wrinkly and cheap. if your going to do it, do the whole interior too, such as the front doors and seats. but obviously LV would not fit right on an 8.
-lambo doors... meh could do without it... does nothing
-also that duct looks terrible. go back to stock or a modest lip or kit
-the 2tone looks kind of cheesy.
-get rid of the chrome door handle covers
-get rid of the seat covers
-paint the vented hood mesh black

I agree this guys ride looks pretty bad in it's current state but you are riding around on spray painted wheels so I wouldn't talk too much shit on him if I were you.

honestly, I dont understand why you want CF on the intake. its not like normal intakes weight a couple tons.

Gotta love brand fan boi's. FYI, AEM is now K&N as well and the materials are different as well.

So, looks like I will be removing the DUB emblems this weekend, thanks for the input on those. I am also looking into a gunmetal powdercoating the rims. What do you guys think?? (Also paint the metal on the CF hood, What if I painted the metal winning blue? any comments? )

This car isnt that bad. If he removed the chrome wheels, intake gap in the front bumper, and got some nice volks or advans, it wouldnt look bad. Funny how some hideous chorme wheels can change the look of a car so much.

trust me dude, that will look terrible. the point of painting it black is so that it doesn't stand out as much as the tacky silver mesh. if your going to paint it winning blue, then it will look even more tacky.:doh:
