New Camera = New Pics! 56k DIAF!

Picked up a Nikon D60 kit on Black Friday. LOVE IT. So I clay barred, and waxed the 8 yesterday. Today I went out and took some uber pics.

Here is the outcome:

I'm still learning how to use all the features so any tips would be appreciated!

The trick is to not photograph your car in the nude, then post the photos on the internet with your gonads showing.

one of our facebook's isn't working so i'll move the convo here.

12-1 is the worst time to shoot because the sunlight is so bright. the key with shooting outdoors is to do it in the morning or right before the sun sets. but if you want to do it between those times, then just lower your exposure levels. best weather to shoot in is cloudy because of the moody lighting and the reflections really accentuate the car - time of day doesn't really matter with that.

here's a link to one of my photo teacher's sites.

http://withmeat.com/links.html look under digital to learn how to use your camera.

Uh oh and you have a WB too! We should start a d60/WB club. No VR's allowed.

I would suggest joining a photography forum, like photography on the net for canon user. Buy some better glass, a tripod and a remote.

You can buy a lot of good stuff from such forums.
