Cool Nature shots of my Black RX-8 w/ clear corners

I hadn't taken in pics since I put on the clear corner lenses and front splash guards, so I took advantage of the beautiful weather today to get a few pictures of my 8 around the corner near a forest preserve. I know I need to wax her, but at least she's clean : )

Thanks. The install is a piece of cake- you just need a stubby phillips head, take out two plastic screws from the fender, pull back the thin plastic fender lining, and remove the one screw that is holding the lens assembly in. Remove the bulb harness from the old assembly, take out clear bulbs and replace with amber, and reverse the removal process. Took 10 minutes...

Note- really make sure you have the wire harness securely attached in the lens assembly- I apparently didn't the first time on the driver's side and the harness pulled away from the lens after driving around for a few days. I found out after the next carwash as it turned my lens assembly into a small fishbowl : )

How fast?

How fast were you driving when you took these pictures? How come you did'nt take the pictures with some cows in the back, like our good friend did in New Zealand?

Ahh Gandu my friend,
I was driving very, very fast. That's why you can't see the cows, because you blinked. Look again...

Hey, cool shots!

One suggestion -- get a polarizer lens for outdoor pics like that. You can really customize the lighting

No, It's fine.

No, I personally think your RX8 pictures are perfect. These guys here have been giving me a tough time when I've uploaded my RX8 pictures. Eventhough I'm Picasso I get no respect.

Thanks... I'm hoping to ditch my 3y/o Olympus 3mpxl and get something that will allow standard lens attachments and filters soon... something like the EOS digital.

They're simply called "clear corners"... Several vendors sell them imported from Japan, but I got mine off of ebay- there's usually several sets for sale around $50 or so for the pair.

Looks like my car, except I don't have a spoiler any more!!!

What bulbs did you use in your clear corners??

Clear or amber?

Stealth bulbs?

Thanks....
