My Rx-8
Became a Rx-8 Owner Finally, have had a Rx-7 for awhile... found out about this forum just a couple weeks ago, decided to join recently.
Just got her about a week ago, sorry about the pics but its a cell phone.
I have a real camera thats nice, but just have not had the time to get the pics done... will be adding them soon.
Any suggestions as to any aftermarket changes??

welcome to the cult!!!!! errrr.... "club".
What kind of 7 did yo have? got pics? I always loved RX-7's, but they were too small for me.
there's a ton of exhaust clips on youtube but here's an easy breakdown:
- Racing Beat is probably the most popular but one of the more subtle exhausts. Sounds almost stock at idle but sounds awesome under heavy throttle. (it's what I have)
- Borla / Greddy are some of the louder exhausts. The borla has a deep tone and is a bit more agressive.
- HKS makes a single tip exhaust that sounds MEAN. (in a good way)

Welcome to the club. The car looks clean
In all honestly the mods you pick will be best decided on what suits your needs.
Search the board for exhaust, intakes, FI, Midpipes, etc. -- these mods are talked about over and over again .
Then when you find something that you think you may like try YouTube to get a sound note or performance advantage of the mod(s) your seeking.
Good Luck

well sounds like a drop is most recommended, then the wider wheels is what i was gonna do already.
The car came with an AFE Short shifter, from the previous owner, so that is already handled.
The Borla sounds amazing, and so does the HKS legamax, the exhaust is gonna be a tough decision.

Nice car a BEST color (That's right I said it)
MazdaSpeed kit is kind of a standard around here but honestly, it is the best looking one IMO. I have the Greddy SP2 and I like it a bunch. HKS is real popular around here too.
Tein S Springs go great with the stock shocks but the ultimate is still coilovers. I have the springs so I can't tell you what the best coil is.
Big engine mods can be a book of responses. Best decide the level of performance you want to add. Otherwise you can go from de fogging you air box to dropping in a 1000whp engine.

Racing Beat exhaust and dual resonated pipe, depending on the laws where you live... We don't have emissions testing here One easy performance upgrade is an underdrive pulley, Agency Power is about $120. Tint helps the looks a lot.
