1 PS = 75 kp·m/s = 0.73549875 kW = 0.986 hp (SAE)
297 PS = 292 HP
.62 BAR = 9 PSI
This dyno is corrected to "flywheel PS" by an unknown conversion factor, though it is typical to use 15%, so the "real" wheel HP is about 250 at 9 PSI.
Can't say the porting did much for the power - certainly not as much as running a better EMS (like the EMU) would have done.

I'd like to hear more details on the porting. Did the focus on the exhaust or intake? How much larger are the openings?
292 whp is not hard to get with a stock engine + greddy kit, so it's hard to say how much it helped.

Stock I was about 19 KgM
Turbo about 30-32 KgM
Ported turbo about 39 KgM after all those runs on the dynamometer.
After all I prefer 300ps with 39KgM than 350ps with 32KgM.
Any way we are in the beginning with that motor we have to do many things with that basic setup (turbine, intake, intercooler, lightweight flywheel etc)
Is there an other dyno from a ported turbo here? I am curious.

Here's a good thread you may want to check out. It lists rear wheel hp dyno plots of known turbo and Supercharger kits on the RX8. None of them are on ported motors though.

Though that is a nice thought, it really isn't a choice since the two are interrelated. If you make a lot of torque, but not a lot of power, that is because your engine is running out of breath up top, not because you did something magical down low.
Once again, we are not sure how accurate these numbers are since your dyno operator was using some sort of conversion factor to calculcate back to flywheel numbers (though that is generally not needed for measuring torque).
That said, those are not particularly impressive numbers at 9 PSI on the GReddy, especially if it is corrected.

But the plots are showing 250 RWHP and 250 to 280 ft/lbs of torque, depending on what was really going on there as far as conversion factor is concerned.
Those numbers should be attainable at 5 - 6 PSI.

The video is awesome. A lot of fun to watch and nicely edited.
I'm just not sure what the interaction is between the porting and the boost. Porting doesn't typically increase torque as much as it does power, which seems to be the opposite of what your graph shows.

You can see him reach down and shift when needed. You are just mistaking his throttle application and lift because of the BOV.
If you listen, you can hear that the motor is still at the same RPM when he gets back on it during those moments when you hear the BOV while both hands are on the wheel.
