I got my Titanium Gray-Red/Black 6MT GT RX-8 today!!! Mine was the first 8 delivered at this dealership -- I think they were almost as excited as me about it!

I have a set of vent strakes, I'm going to install them in the morning.

That is sooo nice. I just saw the Titty grey today for the time. It was everything I was hoping for. It does have tiny tiny blue flakes in the paint. Juat awesome.

 

Pictures DEFINITELY do not do this color justice -- you have to see it "in the flesh"! While I was waiting for my paperwork to be completed, several customers stopped by to gawk -- it was universally "appreciated"

 

I like how it looks like they gave it a place of "honor" away from the other lowly cars... well.. except for that golf cart parked next to it.

where did you get the strakes from? how much did they cost? you think they would be noticed on a sunlight silver rx8?

 

1. I bought them from Trussville Mazda (online).

2. They were $195 plus shipping.

3a. They aren't installed yet in the pictures.

3b. My car is Titanium Gray, not Sunlight Silver.

 

Please post pics once you have the strakes installed. I have a titanium 8 as well and would like to see what the strakes look like on that color.

Nice car!! .....but ummm, how much they asking for the golf cart? That looks pretty hot too. Did you consider buying that at all? :D
