Red face My nuts are a little blue..

After stripping a couple of my old ones I decided to get a new set. These formula lug nuts weren't the first choice. At first I wasn't fond of the blue but I think they turned out ok. They match the blue on the cusco coilovers and the strut bar. Check them out...

Those are hard. $300, holy ****, but if I had real rims it would be a smart investment.

I got the red ones earlier this year. I wanted the black ones, but they weren't on the market at the time.

You're gonna also find out that the nylon/plastic key will strip out fast no matter how light you tighten the caps

So how do these offer any more protection over standard lock nuts?

Oh no, I get what you're saying. The caps themselves are the standard stuff.
