Wow, this color is to the RX-8 how the Desert Silver is to the RSX. A lot of people brush it off at first but then it starts to grow on you.

 

The photos cannot really capture this color. Part of the attraction to me is the way it looks so different under different lighting conditions. At night it looks black, under cloudy skies dark green, but when the sun shines on it it sparkles with brighter green colors. Very unusual. There was only one this color on the lot when I bought it and it grabbed me instantly.

 

Same here. I went round and round about the color when I was looking on the Mazda website. Then when I went and test drove the car I saw a Nordic Green and knew that that was the color for me. I had to drive 40 miles to a dealer that had a green GT AT. I was worried about the Black and Chaparral at first, but am very happy with that choice now, too.

It really is an amazing color- I kept telling everyone they should get one, but we NG people seem to be few and far between!

 

There also seem to be fewer Nordic Greens made. When I was looking back in September/October there were lots of Black, Red, Titanium and some Yellows, but very few Greens. We just must be special!!
