My New Super Advan Gen II

The pictures kinda suck because I was useing my cell phone cam. I really love the way it looks. The only propblem I have is the rubing on the rear tires with 275. I already had some forum members recomend me to get my fenders shaved, or I might just get 255 in the back because my fronts are 255.

I've never liked those wheels and they just don't work well on the RX-8 IMO, but if you like em that's all that matters.

Yup, I get mixed comments on these rims. Somepeople just don't like 3 spoke rims. You're right everyone has their own opinon, so all comments are welcome.

hmm, I think silver wouldve look better, plus a little less fender gap would make the wheels look not as small.

I have flat black wheels and I get people telling me I should get "shiney" wheels. Your wheels are such an old yet classic design, they just seem like they should be on an S13, AE86, or R32 Skyline. Some nice looking calipers and rotors almost seem like a must with them as well.

LOL!!! you're right, I feel like I have to get some slotted rotors and a big calipers. It looks so naked right now.

Wont the paint crack if I do that? I should PM the guys you mention for pics. I don't know why but i'm scared to do that. Also the gap would be wider if I did that right?

fender rolling will risk paint cracking, shaving fender is no problem as long as they dab the edges with paint after to keep it from rusting.
gap will not be wider, as it has no affect on the look of the car. hard to explain, if you feel under the rear fender you'll feel the metal body of the car extend about 3/4" more in. they will shave the metal down a lil so when the tire goes further into the wheel well (during a bump or so) the tire will not rub the metal.

I think i'm gonna grind down the calipers so they're smooth, then paint them lightning yellow to match my car.

Cesaralaniz (Find him in the San Bernardino thread) just had his stock calipers powder coated yellow....nice and smooth and easy to keep clean.

Hope that provides you with another option.

As for the wheels, I'm glad you like them. They definately are original...you and Lazi being the only ones. I'm not into them, but what do you care, right

I don't think it looks too bad. Its just hard to see, and doesn't really go well with the appearace package. You'll need something more aggressive, especially with the MS wing.

I just don't like 3 spoke rims. When I see those I think of those nasty Pep Boys rims that are on old Honda's with purple tint peeling off the windows.

Obviously though, these are not Pep Boys rims. I am glad and happy, though, if you like them... since, afterall, they are on your car.

i don't know what kinda pep boys rim on hondas you see, but i don't really see no honda with 3 spoke rims. i'll see hub cap spinners tho. and those arent even 3 spokes.
