It is nice but my GF was bitching and moaning to me about me promising not to get "red" interior and I had to convince her that this isn't the red I wasn't going to get - and that this color is "expensive" not "racy"

 

saw one of these at my local dealership.. why this one and not the newer models?

 

Those arent R3 rims, the R3's are 19s not 18s are the R3s are not silver (see my sig)

 

I think they used WAYYYY too much red in the interior. Luckily this is only on the 40th anniv edition. Just my opinion. Im a black leather person

 

don't remember really...oh yea maybe the $6.5k bellow the sticker price had something to do with it

I also think the 08 version has cleaner design to it, but that evens out with aux in jack, better engine lubing and urathane reinforcements to the body in 09...maybe very slight lean to 09 here though.

 

Well the good news is that there seem to be plenty of people that would gladly trade their black fo my "red".

When I was looking at the pictures the seat color was my major concern about the 40th ed. - but really the color is very likable in real life - comes off more expensive then racy. Black is (just?) good ol' black.

 

it's a subtle kind of red, you won't know until you see it in person. It's quite nice.
