The 'original sexy lines' of the car are the MS kit FYI. The car was designed originally as what we know as the MS kit. It was decided that this would be 'too much' for the majority of potential buyers and it was tamed down into what we buy as the stock car.

However, I think they went too far, the front is slightly too curvy and from some angles looks to cutsey IMHO.

All that said, as I have said many times before we all must have loved the original looks of the car to go out and buy it - however it doesn't mean that it can't be improved upon.

I think any car looks much better with a squared off front end, coming out to its furthest points at the highest point of the nose and then coming straight down to the ground. So when I saw the INGs nose, that was the one for me. I did think hard about the D1 GT Veilside nose, but it too still have too much of a curve and the lip wouldn't be practical in speed bump Britain. So INGs it was.

That being said, I think the stock unmodified car is now a little bland - probably because I'm used to mine being non-standard and that has become the standard - to me.

I don't think anyone should be slagged off for anything they do to the car (with the exception of underside neons and the stupid little blue leds in the screen washers - what we would call 'Chav' over here and usually limited to someone who owns several burberry caps!) at the same time, constructive criticism is what I think is called for - this forum is def a no fly zone for large wings and decals, but that doesn't mean to say its wrong. Each to their own. Calling it crap is not called for.

I personally don't like the CF look and if I ever do go for a CF hood of some kind I'd get it painted!

i think the front is a tad bit too much. The wing however suits the car very nicely. Not saying it looks nice, but what the hell, you already went that far with the car already might as well get the big *** wing too, it would look funny with the oem spoiler on when everything else is so imo "wild". Not my cup of tea at all, i personally hate the veilside kit, but it is a total package. In the end it's not my car so someone elses garbage is someone elses treasure.

Another blast from the past thread.

It doesn't make sense bringing this thread back to life without linking the sequel thread to it...

... and, "no", he did not add any of the performance stuff to it that he said he was going to.
