How cold was that engine when you revved it? Ikes! I'm sure it seems "quiet" because of the quality of the recording and the fact you are listening through computer speakers.

I have inside and outside clips of the car

on a scale of 1-10, how loud would you say it is compared to the stock cat?

if 1 is stock cat, and 10 is turboxs without mufflers, I'd say it's a 2 or 3 at the most. It's very quiet, but it's a tad louder than stock.

I have this midpipe with the Racing Beat exhaust and it sounds perfect IMO, barely louder than stock at idle but a deeper tone.... and at wide open throttle sounds like a mean sports car. You'll really like it once you break it in, sound gets smoother and deeper. I had the Agency Power midpipe on there before and I'm surprised how much smoother and quieter the RB is with the revs coming down, not as much pop, real clean. I have a really good audio recorder, I'll get a clip up here sometime.

Just a little PSA but cats produce more greenhouse gas than unfiltered exhaust. Cats put out n2o, which is 300x more potent than co2 as a greenouse gas, when the cat is cold and when it warms up it just puts out co2. Unfiltered exhaust on the other hand is carbon monoxide and unburned gasoline with the former being a negligible greenhouse gas that dissipates quickly and the latter not a greenhouse gas at all.

Cats were made to reduce smog and acid rain.

Once it is warm it does seem to get a little bit louder. Don't mean to highjack the thread but just as a way of comparing:
