Well I've had my 8 for about a week now and I'm finally over the shock (at least for a little while) that I've finally decided to post about it. I am the proud owner of a brand new 2005 red mazda rx8 w/ GT package and I am absolutely LOVING this car!!!! I haven't gotten any digital photos cuz well i don't have a digital camera lol. But as soon as I find someone to take some shots I'll post them up immediately. I've been wanting this car for a while now and I got it on January 2nd and I just can't believe it. Hope to become a welcomed member!

Im loving this car only the gas milaege is kinda killing me is it only cuz i haven't broken in the engine yet or is it always gonna be like this?

What kinda of mileage are you getting. I got mine in California and drove it home to Arizona. On that trip I got slightly over 20 MPG. Now I'm getting 17 to 18 MPG (mostly daily commutes to work).

 

I really have no idea what kind of mileage i'm getting. I honestly believe its probably 10mpg or less its definately not more. And last night i had such a bad scare. I don't know whats going on but i was at the wendy's drive thru and when i tried going i guess my back left tire was stuck on something and i tried going but i couldn't go and when i finally got moving the car just wasn't responding well. Then I just smelt something burning like if my clutch was burning or something but i don't know why it would? I was really scared and now first gear feels a bit strange. Maybe its just me? Cuz then my bro drove it and he said it felt fine so maybe it was just in my mind but certainly i don't know where that smell was coming from.
