My garage
I just finished painting the walls and floor, and insulating the garage door...
It has a lot more to go through - need to put in some cabinets, put the bowflex, clean up the junk, put in a tv and stereo... and then air condition it.

Excellent! Have any interest in an EIBACH banner? Or Flag lines? I think I have them in my garage going to waste; might look cool hanging in yours.

the little thing on the floor next to my rear wheel is a speed bump. It's plastic - I got it from lowes. I just drive up till I hit it and know to stop. Some people use tennis ***** hanging from the ceiling instead. Just drive up till the ball hits the hood.

^ Funny thing about it. Above the car is a door to the attic area. I went up there for the first time and found out there's a light with a string (to turn it on and off). It was ON. What makes this interesting is that I've owned the house for over two years and this is the first time I went up there... so it's been on all this time. I also found a few beer cans up there. I guess they're there to insulate.

Yes, it's a freezer
Honestly, while I like the way it looks right now, I think there's a bit too much red. It will be toned down a lot once I install cabinets... they will be a glossy white. Going to fill up most of the wall on the left side of the garage with them. But leaving enough space that I can still park both cars inside if I needed to.

The insulation.... I first thought about styrofoam, but the garage door has 90 degree bends (at the edge of each panel), and bars across some areas, so since styrofoam doesn't bend, it would be a pain. I found rolls of insulation at Lowes (that you see pictured in my previous post). One roll covered all but two panels of the garage door. So I bought a second roll and went over it twice for almost all panels. They sell some metalic looking insulation tape too... I don't know how my work stacks up to a professional job, but on the hot days, the garage door still stays cool, where it used to be pretty warm to the touch. If I had to do it again, I'd put some double sided tape on the center of each panel, a few aren't flush against the door.
