Well this is my very first wax/polish job. Turned out pretty decent.

Also added strakes and wheels. Looking pretty good!

Nice wax job. The rims on the other hand...not my cup of tea. A little too bling for my taste.

in the link she posted why doe sit say fwd? are those wheels only supposed to be use don a fwd car or does it mean they are ok for a fwd car.

bling ain't my thing too...but i think they look better on darker colors like black, shinka, nordic green, but totally ugly on red, blue, white, etc.

 

F*in Bling, thats the most chromed out 8 i've seen yet.

 

Not to crazy about those wheels but maybe it's just the lighting and the camera?

Yea, the camera is only 1 megapixel, and I'm not the best camera operator :p
The rims are chrome, but they don't appear "that" bling in person. I am a woman though, just like we like diamonds that sparkle, I like rims that sparkle too hehe.

 

That's a ton of noise coming off those rims, but I surely understand the female desire for sparkle and your car does look nice. Me, on the other hand, would never part with my gunmetal VR's.

I was talking to Juan from wheelsnext.com about this. Apparently the RX-8's wide stance gives it an offset usually found on FWD cars.

Lady_Shinka, didn't you also get tinging done? I saw it on base last week and it looked like there was tinting.

 

Yes 20% all the way around. I don't really consider tinting a mod to the RX-8. Imo it should have come with tint!!

 

Neither do I, but I was making sure I wasn't halucinating. :D

 

At least it's clean....rims not my style. But, to each his own!
