dude, i like the sound. go with what you like. everyone will have their opinions, but it all comes down to what you like. you're the one who has to drive the car.
im running stock, so i give people props for going out and doing their own thing (even if it involves jacking threads, ricey bumpers, too much chrome, asymmetrical debadge, and a blowout haircut.)

well.... lets be honest with ourselves... there are plenty of expensive systems that sound a lot worse then that....
doesn't sound to bad to me, doesn't sound great either..... but either way, it's hard to tell with a low quality vid like that.
good job on doing your own thing and thanks for sharing

Ok, one more time. People...don't you get that an audio recording from a camera is not going to be the same as the real thing? Not only that, but people have different speakers, sound cards, etc. So why bother hounding the guy about it?
I'm not a fan of single exhausts on our car like many, but hey...whatever right?

RX8 & RX7 owner
Same little purring sound of the rotary...i did it more for looks
No no no, i bought my rear lip off another rx8 owner. I think he probably had like HKS legamax dual and it started to melt, and even then Veilside said that this lip might melt with some exhausts, im guessing the ones that are running full race pipe because they run hotter.

Are you serious? The one reason I'm turned off by this exhaust is the aesthetics - had the muffler not appeared so 'pep-boy-special'ish, I would actually support the idea - the shiny tin looking muffler with short stubby tip look just does not do it for me! An RE-Amemiya product would have much more taste and clearly be of higher quality.

Was I the only one that caught this?
I would like to know what pipe gives our car a 10-12hp gain.

Well I'm sold on it. If I was going to decide to do this I would rather Choose an Apexi N1 Ex Ti Muffler instead Just Because I have quite the Good history with the N1 Line from Apexi. so congrats SynistaRX8! for doing something Unique.
