have some respect for the mans car, he must of spent thousands to make it that fast. Sure it's still a rice burner, but its a rice burner that we will see the rear end of many times

 

Well any turbo car will take a non FI 8. It's simple mecahnics. Very nice car though. Looks like a lot of time and money and probably a lot of bitching as with every higly modified car. Props to your cousin

Not everyone can afford a +20k car as well as mod it out. For these guys, the civic K swap is prob the best alternative to have something fast as well as a bit unique.
I was parked next to a civic alot like this one at a car meet a month ago and he had K24 swap. He bought engine for 3k and installed himself. I believe he said with engine, parts and cost of car he was around 8k total vested.
Not a big fan of civics either, but i am a fan of speed. Plus, the guy has pride in his ride due to the clean guts under the hood as well as no apparent paint/body damage. Good for him.

it just seems instead of spending so much money on a civic to be as fast as some stock cars is not worth it when you step back and see its still a civic and now the money you spent in it to try to be a nice car... why not just save the money and get an actual nice car. I think its a pride thing to say what i spent for my car and what its worth and what it is. I cant say i would be proud to say " i havnt spent hardly anything on this cheap piece of ****!, and look its fast too... just ugly as hell" i would rather say "look at my rx8 that i paid for... it took a lot of work but i have a nice *** car".... regardless of how fast the rx8 actually is. If its speed and cheap cost your going for just buy a dune buggy and slap a 3-rotor in it like this guy :

All in all, its still a civic.... and lots of people cant stand them. I am pretty sure the only people who cant stand an rx8 are the ones who were stupid enough to buy something else because the ones who are owners of something like a civic either have respect for the 8 for the reason of thats the car they really would have rather had but couldnt afford, or just talk trash because there is no other way to explain their stupidity.

im not a fan of civics...... but its well built. your cousin has a nice ride. I think a lot of people cant get past the "rice" factor that goes with the civic's name nowadays, so you get comments like "its still just a civic"......... I like well built cars. Some people seem to like cars without the "rice" factor (which our tail lights CLEARLy have!!).

me and mikeluvs8 know this guy personally and this person takes a lot of pride in his car!! i agree with mikeluvs8 this is pretty impressive for a 4cylinder n/a car!! recent update from his brother this car put down 240whp with upgraded cams!! I wish people would get past the fact that this is a civic....so what its a well done and put together car give the guy his props!!

 

I dont know what to say. But I just love cars. So I give it a thumbs up also my frist car was going to be a 99 Civic lol so good job on a car well built
