Yeah, but my tailight needs it too. The scuff on it, will not come off. And a bumper cover from Mazda, is probably naked. The body shops both have an unfinished bumper cover listed at $236. So I am just going to bite the bullet, get it fixed, pay the deductible, and go on. Otherwise, I will be pissed everytime I get in the car. And that is not what I want, I usually get into a better mood getting in the car.

Usually people who drive into your car don't park right next to it. Unless of course your me. Once at my previous employer someone drove into my bumper and then parked right there. Idiots. I got paid from her insurance but my insurance estimator person told me I could have called the cops and filed a hit and run. Ahhhh... that would have been sweet. I'll make sure to do that next time.

Check your local insurance laws, cause around here you can report such a accident and they will not raise your rates. You have to pay the deductible, but thats it.

yeah, it is being filed under Uninsured Motorist, which is a no fault claim, all I pay is my deductible, my rates will not increase.

Wow man that is really to bad that happened. The only thing is that in a parking lot the police can not issue a ticket just right up a report. It is up to the insurance companies to decide. But that was dick!

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but it's probably true....

I bet it was a woman on her cell phone who doesn't even know she plowed her SUV into yer baby. Sad, but probably true ....

by deductible is only $250, the lowest State Farm has for Uninsured Motorist claims.

It does suck that it happened, and the more I look at it, the more I am concerned for the rear quarter panel. Someone else mentioned the trunk looked funny, but it was popped open in that pic. I have been staring at it now, and the gap on the drivers side is about twice the gap on the passenger side, and the fuel door appears to not be sitting flush with the quarter panel. I am hoping that it is just from pressure being put on the quarter panel by them bumper cover, b/c it is pushed in a little. Oh well, it will get fixed, I have a good shop near me.

ANd yeah, RSD, as sad as it is, this area is rampant with soccer moms in SUV's and minivans, and most of them drive like they are the only one on the road. Probably too busy yelling at her 2.5 kids, to notice she just ran into my only child.

waiting on a word from Paul at Mazmart, and the adjuster from the Ins. company is coming out tomorrow. I am over it now. I don't really care anymore. Someone else will just samsh it later down the road. The sooner I prepare for it, the better off I will be, I keep telling myself that, it ain't working yet.
