my bumper is finally painted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my bumper back today, I still need to go to the bodyshop tomorrow and get the bumper buffed, and wet sanded so it matched the rest of the car better. A friend drove my car and I took some pics with a crappy camera.

Check it:

Bumper looks good. Two questions...why do your wheels sit so far under in the front, and any plans for getting some skirts?

ya. looks funny. Like your front is a lot lower (or so it seems) than the back. kinda throws off the balance of the car..... visually that is...

Cause I'm low, my alignment is fucked up, and the stock wheels are sunken like hell. Yeah, eventually gonna get the rest of the kit.

Yeah, it's off, according to the body shop, they said they are gonna buff/wet sand the bumper and the car, and it'll be a good match after that. If not they are gonna re paint it.

Rear is .5" higher than the front, because the coils won't really go lower in the rear.

Yeah, TEIN FLEX can't really lower the car much which these. When I get wheels, I might swap with another one so I can lower it.

wet sanding and buffing will do nothing for the color. it will have to be repainted.

You should bring the front ride height up a bit so it looks more even bro.

Yeah I guess, they were pretty sure about it matching, idk. It was only painted like 2hrs before that pic was taken, does that have anything to do with it?

Yeah, I thought about that. I hate wheel gap, so it wont happen. There is like a.25wheel gap with the rear settings, it bothered me a lot at first, but now I'm kinda used to it.

no that won't matter. the only colors I've seen that gets darker as it dries is red, white, yellow.

did they match the paint to the car or just mix the paint and shoot the bumper without the car there?

They painted the bumper without the car, if it doesn't work they are gonna repaint it. It'll suck waiting for the bumper again lol

oh that's why then....it's hard to match a color without the car..lol

I can match that color almost perfect...it's hard to butt match colors perfectly without blending into body panels

My bumper and sides are just a touch gray, but you can't really notice it...probably only me since I painted it

I think tein flex max drop 3.1" Front and 1.3" Rear.

That's what I thought too, but they said they didn't need the car

Yeah, I know but I was hoping the rears would at least be tucked. Should be like 3 all around.

No it is a knock off, with authentic no paint problems lol.

I would have them repaint it. That color is not even close!

Yeah, sold the swifts a while back, and got the flex's. Hopefully they fix the color issue fast.

Yeah, that is what I'm gonna do now, before I thought that wet sanding and buffing would help.

you need to raise the front a bit i think.

and get some spacers. you need them badly. those wheels are tucking to car in. thats more in than stock, i dont know how that could have happened.

it looks good though, didnt you get this bumper for a few hundred bucks?
