looks good, now detailing time, you can tell it's fresh out of the bodyshop

the bodyshop actually asked me to wax it right away so i can see the imperfections. then i can make a list for him do touch it up all for free.

I hate to point it out, but it looks like the color match on the front bumper to the fender is a little more than off. And what happened to the rear end, behind the rear diffuser, it looks like the bumper has been hacked to hell. The details are so important, especially when going to this level of modification. Just my two bits. Those things not withstanding, it looks good, not many NG 8's out there, and even fewer that are modded.

well, if the D1 rear is like that, I am surprised anyone would buy it. It looks unfinished, maybe pics after a good scrubbing and waxing would clear it up.
And BTW, why is it called "British Racing Green", did the whole bloody car get repainted, or is it just an NG, and not liking the name "Nordic Green"? Sorry, calling a stock color by a new name that you like a little more seems a little silly to me. But that is just me, I could be wrong. Not flaming, just curious.
And curiosity killed the cat....

to answer people's question about the green, no its not nordic green. its british racing green off jaguar. second, i can see all the imperfection now, the bodyshop is going to order more paint, touch up the imperfections, color sand, then buff it. ( free of course ) bryan: you'd have to see the whole car in one piece, did it pretty much to match the CF hood, thats why my rear's diffuser is black too.

im not knockin on your car mike, im knockin the shop that did it. I mean, if they knew it looked like that why would they even give it to you then knowing they would have to repaint it again?? where's the common sense in this? oh well, if thats their business ethics then let them be. i would never bring my business there ever!
