do i care what other people think about my car? honestly, of course i do. the wind deflector DID help with cabin noise, but i took it off not cuz everyone says it looks better with it off, but it's cuz i realize i never use my sunroof.

no reason to get hostile, and if i offended you about your rims... i apologize but it just doesn't look right on the rx8 in my opinion.. maybe like a mercedez or a bmw SUV.

are my black rims with mach lips the best looking? of course not, but i have personal reasons as well. A) i needed to get rims/tires asap cuz i promised my friend i'd sell him my stock ones by april. B) i don't make 6 digit salary, so i went with the one i can afford and looks decent.

hey flyboi.. i just bought my black 8 in april.. i love it.. the navi is awesome, and i just put a custom kicker system in it... i have the exhaust, K&N, and the typhoon already on there.. u said u take urs to the track.. what else can i do to mine to help with accel. But right now i am all about looks and like i said earlier i just bought the underglow red, just have to wire it up... i plan to this sunday.. also, what is rotorfest.. but i guess what i am sayin is.. i want to price the stuff u got.. G'd up. lol besides 'yo grille'.. no offense.. i put one in mine from walmart.. on the clearance isle.. seriously.. cut it out myself.. i also filled the back with it.. custom job. let me know what u got and i'll catch ya later

oh yea... i thought i picked up a few hp with the aem intake as well. if anything i got it cuz it looked and sounded nice. but i was pleased with what i got out of it.

as for the red underglow... completely useless haha. i've turned them on maybe like 5 times for like a few secs for those who wanted to see it. unless ur into car shows and things... u dont really need it but since u got it already, wut the hell, get em on~ lol

i installed my underglow sunday finally, i actually mounted my switches or control box in the middle consol by my cig outlet.. (i'll have pictures on here some time soon). but the glow looks really good, and like u said, some people like and some don't. (not tryin to rice it out or anything)

cool story.. I got another Rotor fan to join.. a girl that i have dated in the past, we are still really good friends.. i bought my 8 earlier in april, and she has loved it since.. she has had a crush the rotor cars for a while. She has drivin an older model civic for a while, but a 6 speed since she could drive. so i figured i would let her take my car out, since it isn't brand new anymore.. well its been a couple of weeks, and jokingly i told her that she could drive it again if she would wash it for me. WELL, she agreed.. (which was a sweet deal in my part!) She comes over to pay her dues and tells me that she went and looked at an 8 herself in a town an hour away.. she told me about it, and that it was soon to be hers. well today she brings by my work when i got off.. just let me be the first to tell u, she is the hottest 8, female driver to be out on the roads! (sorry girls that read this) SO, (mine is better) i have a black touring edition, and she has a simple but very attractive silver 04. We have plans for hers now just as we did for mine. I think we will make a good team in east texas!

wow... just like that, she went out and got one huh? haha thats awesome man~ and silver (at least in my area) seem to be the most common color but it's a good color especially for maintanence. black is annoying... everytime i wash my car, i see a new scratch and i grind my teeth lol.

as for the interceptor x... how i see it is... all the bolt ons you get for the car will give anywhere from 1-8 hp... so u figure u get about 12-18 with a good bolt on set up. although some civics get 12-18 with a simple CAI, the small amount of hps do add up.. "potentials" for the car. the interceptor x just maxes out everything you had... you have a full midpipe and catback? you're car breathes better now and now you can play with the AFRs.

I may be completely wrong, but thats how i see it haha. anyways, the interceptor x comes with a base map so you can just plug it in and u'll feel the difference (not right away for me, it took like 30 miles or so until it really started pulling hard). I must admit.. the first 30 miles, i was kinda disappointed considering i dropped $1600 on this unit but after the 30 miles or so, man did i love it.

also, i recommend getting interceptor x last (again, my theory) after all the bolt ons cuz if you got it before... and you get other bolt ons u need to retune it for max hp gains. another great thing about the interceptor is that if u ever choose to go turbo, it's a great unit for a turbo set up as well. some turbos require separate EMS and they charge you separately for that (lots of $$). if you get the interceptor, you have immediate power n/a, save some gas, and a great unit to have whatever ur plans are for the future.

lastly, scott (the interceptor x maker) is one heck of a guy. he really goes out of his way to help everyone with any technical difficulties to just random questions u might have. customer service is easily A+
