Looks a lot better with the black lug nuts...a drop and some spacers would do her some good, maybe do something with the emblems too

+1 on Originality

The emblems will be painted with plasti-dip to get rid of the last bit of chrome on the car(it came with the chrome fuel door which was quickly replaced) and I have plans for spacers, just gotta see what I need.

what if you bought front and rear accents and painted em orange? or you could do orange fender vents? orange rx8club decal on window?

The plan is about 80%/20% black/orange. I want to do the silver interior panels orange and some more stuff on the outside...I could only see doing the vents if I got aftermarket ones like the CF ones and painted them orange but idk about that yet, haven't thought it out that far at this point, lol. Like someone had posted the GT3 RS earlier, I really like that look and it's something different.

It can work... I personally think some different wheels in the same color would have helped a bit. Still interested to see where this is going.

My brother suggested the mirrors, and I did a pic in Forza 3 with orange wheels and the rocker panels done in the same color...maybe I need to tinker on there and post it here to get an idea.

EDIT: Well maybe not...I couldn't get an orange that was bright enough for it

The wheels are too "loud" for a stock car imo.

If you're gonna keep your stock wheels, go lower, lower profile tire n' space them out w/a 25mm spacer. More form than function but i don't see how having orange wheels would be a function thing anyways.

just my two $.02

btw, kudos to the cool wifey.

I don't have the chrome fuel door anymore, I sold it a month after I got the car and I plan on getting some spacers soon.

lowering the car any time soon?

spacing it out 25mm's will be closer to flush but if you're gonna stay stock height you may poke out a bit...

...mexi-flush

I know, I was commenting more on the look. The guy in the aggressive fitment thread with a BB and orange Rota's (I Think). Just seems odd to CC someone else's look almost exactly.

Drop and spacers ftw...is it just me or did the wheels look really good in white? Probable coulnt rattle can it, but I would have never thought to powdercoat the wheels white!

Too many people pretending to be nice and saying "it looks bad, imo". It was done well and with the bb looks good. It just might have been inspirational enough to do the same thing in black to my stickers. I don't plan on new wheels anytime soon, and cannot think.of a color other than blac that will go well with titanium grey. If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for the springs?

Stance does look a little better. I like it. Its different. You still doing the one spoke with the emblem? Thats what Im looking forward to seeing, it will change the look just enough for me to really like it I think.

I've been debating on doing it or not...the issue will be either finding a decal that I can paint over and peel off or a template to use for it and it not look ridiculous. I think the rotory triangle with an 8 in the middle would look good. I think I may do a black spoke with an orange emblem, what do ya think? Might have to photochop somethin together.

@ kevin, I was wondering what you meant by stickers, lol.

All in all I wanted something different, many people just black everything out and go that route but I didn't want" murdered out." I have got a few random comments at the gas station filling up from people who like it and I love catching people looking while they are driving, lol.

Damn it, I was so excited to tell you to get black nuts... So I guess I'll tell you to get some 25mm spacers!
