My 8 - Before & After

Hanging out tonight - decided to download and file some digital pics. Here are a couple I thought I'd share:

First, my RX8 the day after I bought it - taken at work, where I was showing it off.

Second, my RX8 the day after I brought it home from having the body kit installed - looking a little different.

My new obsession!

Looks great. Do you have a profile shot?

I'd like to see the Mazdaspeed kit without a wing (like you have).

BTW, those rims chromed look sweet! :D

One of the best 8's ive seen. I like how you have the kit but without a massive wing.

I like it, don't do much more to it, I think you've done an excellent job.

Thanks for the comments

I'm pretty satisfied with how everything turned out - just had the final step done that I plan to take for now - had a two-tone grey/black "carbon fiber style" leather interior installed. It's a dark dreary day here - will have to wait for pics.

I am another VERY happy Racing Beat exhaust customer. The large pipes really filled in the large MS Kit rear opening. (The stockers looked like "tinker toys" to me) I initially went to the R-B exhaust for the look - but have come to LOVE it for the sound.

Re: the painted calipers - had the shop that installed the body kit do them for me

Re: the tires - the Bridgestone Potenza 18" stockers still - recently rotated - I rather like them.

Re: the other car "lurking" in background - a Montego Blue 95 RX7.

Re: request for more pics: (Note: pics do not show the R-B exhaust - you will see what I mean by looking "small").

Edit - OK so, I'm stuck at home with a sick puppy - decided to go out and take the final pic which shows the (dirty - been having fun!) R-B exhaust.

Hi ya zoom44 -

Actually, the 8 was rather jealous of the 7 for awhile. I had the 7 repainted it's original Montego Blue (which is an AMAZING color when it is not all faded out), intalled 99 spec tail lights, and a 99 spec front lip, installed a new leather interior, new carpet and did all the reliability mods.

Then, my attention returned to my first love, my 8! If the fog/overcast burns off, I'll try to post a pic of the interior...........

My kit was the third one they did - it could be the difference in kits, that the shop got better and better at doing it, or the fact I made them re-do the rear piece 3 times before I was satisfied......And, I am VERY satisfied with the kit - install, color match, everything.....

It's the R-Magic lip I bought from Leegina.

I think Jill may be the champion of aftermarket mods for the 8!

All done in a tasteful way. A great looking car!
