Might I inquire about the time required to accomplish this? I'm thinking about ordering a Zaino kit but I fear it might consume too much time. Can I get something done within say, 4 hours or do I need to spend two full days on it?

The first day is gonna take you all day.
Wash the car - 45 min?
Claybar the entire car - 1 1/2 hours.. maybe more if it's really bad..
Hose it off again and dry it - 15 min.
Apply Z5 - 15 min + drying time
Remove Z5 - 15 min
Apply Z6 - 10 min
Apply Z2 - 15 min + drying time
Remove Z2 - 15 min
Apply Z6 - 10 min
Apply Z8 - 10 min
The warmer it is outside, the faster it dries. I did mine in 40 degree weather, so I let it dry for an hour. Don't do it when it's humid.
You definitely can get SOME of it done in 4 hours, and that amount will be plenty for you to drive around with a nice looking car. To get the extreme shine, you just wash and do more coats of z5 and z2, and top it with z8.. But, you can leave any of those steps as the last step, and come back to it another day when you have the desire. And your car will be very well protected.
Another thing I noticed is that the Zaino seems to fill in the chips in my hood, as they look like they're getting smaller every time I use it.. Maybe soon I won't even see them anymore??
