Painting with light is cool. Perhaps a bit distracting for car pics though, but still pretty cool.

Silver is the best color at night (although Black is very close to). I love the way the night lights reflect off the paint.

Fun pictures. I'm into creativity. Good job. I esp. like the one where the car drives forward.

Great work. I did some photos like that for a Magazine cover a few year back. What was your shutter speed?

I used a 30 second bulb setting. That is the longest my digital camera will do )which made me rush around in some of the pics). With my old manual 35mm, I had a cable release so I could leave it open as long as I wanted too.

Those would make a fine addition to the "Rides" section of the MazdaNow.com website.....in my humble opinion.

Good job.

Get the car in the dark with minimum light. Set the aperture low and the shutter speed to infinite. Get some lights you can hold in your hand of various colours. Put the camera on a tripod, have someone push the button down, then run behind the car and make swirlies really fast for awhile. Turn off the light, then have the person let the button up.

It helps if you have a "remote button pusher" thing (button on a string that hooks to the button) so that the force of their finger on the button doesn't cause the camera to move.

Sorry, my photography terminology crapped out about 1/2 through the post.

It works best and makes the car show up nice if you have a flash you can set off after you do the other effects. Unfortunately, I didn't have a friend handy to push the button, and my digital camera doesn't have a cable release. So, it's just push the button, and hope you get everything finished you want to do in the thirty second time limit (my camera's longest bulb setting). Thanks for all the compliments!

Wow. That is a ton of scribble for 30 seconds. I bet you didn't have to do any extra cardio that day.
