The Mazda Corral was on the Pit Straight. Opposite side of the track from the pits. You had to cross the bridge to get to us.

 

Man I really wanna try and make it to a race where we can all meet up.

 

Great pics guys. Watched it live on Speed. Very exciting finish. To bad about the long pit for the 70 car. I took a lot of pics of the Laguna Seca race out this way but have not posted them yet. Were the Porsche guys sticking it to you after the race?

 

Have to wait for the Grand-Am 2012 race calender, but the closest one to you 9k would be in Alabama at the Barber track. I think. My first GA race was this year at Laguna Seca. Great time! Maybe we can get a bunch of us from all over to go to the 24hr of Daytona in Jan. Ha ha! I'm trying to work it into the budget.

 

Did anybody stay for Sunday? I'm wondering if any of the trucks showed up to race.

 

I stuck around a little longer Sunday. The trucks did come out and practice/qualify but I was ready to go, so sticking around for the race was out of the question.

The link below takes you to a short video recap we put together of the Mid-OH event. Echoing what everyone else said earlier we enjoyed being part of the show and look forward to more in ’12. While video production isn’t what we do as a ‘job’, I think it’s at least a serviceable effort that captures the excitement for those who weren’t there…plus we’ve got Timko and his panda hat on video for all eternity.
